Prints
Hi Everyone. I am currently working to optimize the images I will be offering as prints. There will be a small collection of images to choose from initially and more images will be added to my print collection over time. I am also in a testing phase that will allow me to verify that what you and I see on the monitor is actually what is printed at the lab. I expect to be done with this process by mid September. I appreciate your continued interest in my art and very much appreciate your patience while I complete the required tasks that will insure a quality product.

For the past 4 Months I’ve traveled around WA and OR capturing moments in time with my camera. I’ve traveled along the Oregon Coast and through the Palouse region of WA. Spent a number of days on several occasions backpacking and climbing in the North Cascades. I roamed Hells Canyon for 4 days and took an excursion to a native grassland prairie in North Eastern Oregon. I think I’ve slept in the back of my truck or on the ground somewhere away from the truck at least 50 nights since May. I’ve witnessed some amazing light, cloud formations, alpen glow, raging rivers and climbed a few mountains with good friends. However, the coolest thing about the last 4 months is the number of other photographers I’ve met along the way. I’ve found those meetings to be very informative and always have come away having learned a new trick or tip to improve my photography or my process.
So now it’s late August and another Cascade summer is in danger of slipping into Autumn as I’m planning what may be my last major wilderness trip before Fall. Autumn comes early to these peaks, especially at the higher elevations. Last year in fact, on September 16th I was snowed on heavily while out backpacking. On this upcoming trip we will travel to North Cascades National Park to attempt a very remote peak . We will hopefully have more variable weather for this trip and great views of the Picket Range….. and plenty of time to capture some new mountain landscape photos if the Cascades will give them up.
